Georgia, Telavi: Thermal refurbishment of 2 kindergartens and establishment of the biomass supply chain
Written by margaryta.kamasaThe main aim of the project was to enhance Georgian CoM signatories’ capacities in climate change mitigation and fulfilment of sustainable local energy policy through implementation of investment projects in line with their Sustainable Energy and Climate Action Plans. Within the project the following measures were implemented: 1) Thermal refurbishment of the kindergarten in Ikalto village and construction of the biomass boiler house. 2) Thermal refurbishment of the kindergarten #1 in Telavi and construction of the biomass boiler house. 3) Establishment of the biomass supply chain for vineyard pruning residues collection, transportation and storing.
