პროექტი მოიცავდა 2 კომპონენტს: i) არსებული საზოგადოებრივი განათების მოდერნიზაცია LED სანათებით; ii) გარე განათების მართვის «გონიერი» სისტემის მონტაჟი.

უკრაინა, ვინიცა: ეკო-მეგობრული საქალაქო ტრანსპორტის სტრატეგია

2016-2029 წლების საქალაქო ტრანსპორტის სტრატეგია მიზნად ისახავს ზრდის ხელშეწყობას და სატრანზიტო მობილობის გაუმჯობესებას. ეს სტრატეგია ადგენს ქალაქის ახალ მნიშვნელოვან მიმართულებებს, პოლიტიკის მიზნებს და გეგმებს. 2029 წლისთვის ვინიცას მოსახლეობას მოემსახურება სატრანსპორტო სისტემა, რომელიც უზრუნველყოფს მაღალი ხარისხის, ინტეგრირებულ, უსაფრთხო და მდგრად სერვისს მთელი მოსახლეობისთვის.
დღეის მონაცემებით, დამტკიცებული სტრატეგიის შესაბამისად განხორციელდა შემდეგი პროექტები: i) კოსმონავტივის გამზირის რეკონსტრუქცია; ii) ტრამვაი «WinWay»; iii) ინტეგრირებული ბილეთი iv) ველოსიპედით მოძრაობის განვითარების პროგრამა; v) საზოგადოებრივი ეკო-ავტობუსები.

უკრაინა, მარიუპოლი: მარიუპოლი ანახლებს მუნიციპალური ტროლეიბუსების პარკს

მარიუპოლს, როგორც მერების შეთანხმების ხელმომწერს, აქვს ამბიციური პოლიტიკა ადგილობრივ დონეზე სათბურის გაზების ემისიის შესამცირებლად, რაც მოიცავს შერბილებისა და ადაპტაციის ღონისძიებებს კლიმატური გამოწვევების საპასუხოდ.
საერთაშორისო ფინანსური ინსტიტუციების დახმარებით მარიუპოლმა შეიძინა 72 თანამედროვე, დაბალასასვლელიანი, ენერგოეფექტური და ეკოლოგიურად სუფთა ტროლეიბუსი და განაახლა სატროლეიბუსო ინფრასტრუქტურა. ყველა ეს ღონისძიება არის 2015 წელს შემუშავებული მდგრადი ენერგეტიკის სამოქმედო გეგმის ნაწილი.

ქალაქი ხმელნიცკი, როგორც მერების შეთანხმების ხელმომწერი, ამბიციურ პოლიტიკას ატარებს ადგილობრივ დონეზე სათბურის გაზების ემისიის შესამცირებლად, რაც მოიცავს შერბილებისა და ადაპტაციის ღონისძიებებს კლიმატური გამოწვევების საპასუხოდ.
მუნიციპალიტეტმა პრიორიტეტად შეარჩია მყარი ნარჩენების სექტორი და საერთაშორისო საფინანსო ორგანიზაციების და სხვა დაინტერესებული მხარეების დახმარებით დაიწყო ამ სექტორის გაუმჯობესების ღონისძიებები. 2-3 წელიწადში დაგეგმილია მუნიციპალური და სამშენებლო ნარჩენების (რომლებიც ნაგავსაყრელზე ტრანსპორტირდება) მოცულობის შემცირება 2020 წელთან შედარებით 87%-ით.

Ukraine, Myrhorod: Modernisation of the district heating system

Modernisation of the District Heating system included two sub-projects:
     • Local Alternative Energy Sources in Myrhorod (2013 - 2015);
     • Modernization of district heating and introduction of demand driven heat supply (2016 - 2018).
The aim of these two sub-projects was to increase efficiency of the local district heating system, introduce using of local biomass for heat energy production, improve the quality of services for heat energy and hot water supply, reduce CO2 emissions and energy bills. The projects were implemented, in cooperation with the Myrhorod municipality and with the support of Poltava regional state administration as CoM Territorial Coordinator.

The Moldova Energy and Biomass Project, funded by EU, co-funded and implemented by UNDP, aims to contribute to a more secure, competitive and sustainable energy production in the Republic of Moldova. It lays the basis for the establishment of functional markets for biomass technologies while increasing the use of renewable energy sources, in particular for heating public buildings and households in rural areas. New jobs and income are created and secured through the establishment of value-added chains at the local and regional level through the supply of biomass fuel and technologies.

Moldova, Copceac and Soroca: Improving of territorial planning and land use practices

The long-term goal of the Project was in reforming the manner in which agricultural, forestry and other production activities are planned and regulated across different land units and tenure categories at the landscape level.
The Project focus was biodiversity conservation, however it addressed anticipated negative impacts of Climate Change (CC) by increasing resilience of the aquatic and terrestrial ecosystems in the targeted districts. By removing the precursors of degradation and careful monitoring of the self-restoration 14 capacities of steppe, forest, meadows and swamp the project contributes to higher resilience of the ecosystems and the species they host, to CC impacts. The project also provisioned afforestation, influencing future humidity conditions through changes in both, temperature and precipitation.

Moldova, Cantemir and Ocnita: Modernization of street lighting

This is a success story of two small municipalities on how they can contribute at the local level to the global targets within the Covenant of Mayors Initiative. The actions took place in Cantemir and Ocnita, Republic of Moldova. Both cities have committed to reduce their energy consumption and CO2 emissions by 20% till 2020 and developed the Sustainable Energy Action Plan (SEAPs). Among dozens of the projects included into the SEAPS, municipalities have focused and implemented ones on modernization of the street lighting systems using innovative technologies and best European practices.

Moreover, biomass boiled is constructed to provide heat energy for modernized buildings.

PubLiCity project funded by the European Union is the largest public lighting modernization project in Belarus for the time being.
