Climate (un) vulnerable: how to work with the topic of climate and climate justice. Recommendations for civil society organisations helping vulnerable groups
The publication provides an analysis of vulnerable groups exposed to negative impacts of climate change and potential impacts of climate policies, including: women, youth, elderly people, people with disabilities, indigenous peoples, low-income people, homeless people, migrants, prisoners, rural communities, communities most affected by climate change, people and communities living in areas / working in sectors affected by climate policies. The paper examines the current state of climate justice and identifies factors that hinder or contribute to its development in these regions. The publication provides practical recommendations on how to integrate climate issues into the activities of civil society organisations (CSOs), as well as suggestions on how to integrate climate action into their strategic planning. The recommendations can be used by a wider range of stakeholders, including local governments, communities, organisations and businesses.
