The third meeting of the Municipal Development Coordination Platform of Covenant of Mayors Club

On May 17, 2022 the third meeting of the Municipal Development Coordination Platform of Covenant of Mayors Club was held in Yerevan, organized by the Republican Association of Communities of Armenia and the Country Expert in Armenia.

CoM - East signatories in Armenia aim at reducing their energy dependence, improving climate change resilience and eliminating energy poverty. The ultimate goal of the Club is to help CoM signatories achieve these aims. The Republican Association of Communities of Armenia and the Country Expert in Armenia were the main sponsors of the event. The event focused on introducing the objectives and activities of the recently launched CoM - East III project, as well as on the results of municipal mitigation and adaptation projects financed by the EC, GCF, GEF and the state budget of the Republic of Armenia. It also served as the final workshop of the co-ordinated CoM - East project in Armenia.
