The project in Calarasi was implemented under Demonstration projects programme. Within the project the following measures were implemented: 1) Modernization of the street lighting system in Calarasi: replacement of 951 luminaries with LEDs, modernization pf 25 km of cables/streets and 25 control cabinets, overall online management system. 2) Installation of architectural lighting at the Calarasi Museum of History and Ethnography. Within the project, additionally 30 pedestrian crossings were highlighted to improve security conditions of the urban traffic. A new street lighting control system was introduced including dimming (real-time, internet-based) and modernization of 25 control cabinets.
