Ukraine: Presentation of MDCP "Energy and Climate Transformation", Slavutych, 26/02/2019

On February 26, 2019, a public event will be organized in the city of Slavutych within the framework of the Municipal Development Coordination Platform "Energy and Climate Transformation".

Representatives of the EU, signatories, support structures, Territorial and National Coordinators of the Covenant of Mayors and all stakeholders that are in cooperation with the European Initiative will gather together to get acquainted with the main activities and plans of the Mayor’s Club or the Municipal Development Coordination Platform "Energy and Climate Change”.

During the event, the concept of the Municipal Platform, the Roadmap for attracting investments into the SE(C)AP, the role of the Signatories, National and Territorial Coordinators, and the internal capacity of the Signatories on project management will be discussed: analysis of existing structures / forms and suggestions for increasing the capacity of cities.

Participants will learn how to create a sustainable and supportive ecosystem for the development of startups on energy efficiency and adaptation to climate change, identifying potential municipal energy infrastructure projects and adapting to climate change at the local level.
